2005 Food Expo: Sports, Fun & Food Expo
It’s Game Time!
The Sports, Fun & Food Expo was Monterrey Provision Company’s third food expo in 3 years. The sports-themed event was held at the Scottish Rite Center Masonic Center in Mission Valley, California. Everybody brought their game face to the event that brings the brightest minds in the foodservice industry together.
Our valued customers entered a world of SPORTS, FUN & FOOD! Whether it was the putting green at the Milton’s booth or the air hockey table by the grandstand – our customers were able to find many ways to enjoy themselves. Popular ballgame anthems blared in the background, while customers were able to visit each booth to try new items, as well as earn plenty of savings on their favorite items. With Monterrey Provision Company staff dressed in their royal blue baseball jerseys and several vendors dressed in referee uniforms, you couldn’t help but feel like you in the middle of a ballgame.
Another year of steady customer traffic, it was wonderful to know our customers laced up their cleats and made it down to our expo. More importantly, our customers (teammates) were able to take advantage of the value Monterrey Provision Company provides with each of its expos.
Hourly door prizes were awarded to customers throughout the expo. The most exciting moment of the expo was when the grand prize trip to Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2006 NFL Pro Bowl was announced. And the lucky customer was Cine Café, a customer located in the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego.
