2004 Food Show - A Blazing Trail of Savings!
Giddy up Cowboy!
Monterrey Provision Company held its first consecutive food show in company history with the 2004 Food Expo "A Blazing Trail of Savings!" The western-themed event was once again held at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Mission Valley, California. Our now annual expo is a wonderful event that brings the brightest minds in the foodservice industry together to meet, greet, and exchange ideas.
As customers entered the event, they were instantly transported to the Old West. Country music, along with Western vignettes in each corner of the room helped create an awesome atmosphere. Photo ops were around every corner with a Western saloon, hotel. Many customers and vendors enjoyed placing their face in Western cut outs, which made some of the best images from the show. While the show was a fun event, it also served as an opportunity for our customers to save on their most commonly used items, while being introduced to newer items.
With a steady flow of traffic throughout the day, it was clear our customers decided to saddle up and mosey on down to the show. More importantly, customers and vendors a like, enjoyed the festive and inviting atmosphere. It was definitely a Blazing Trail of Fun!
Once again, there were two raffles, one for the hourly drawings and the other for the grand prize. Which was a paid for vacation to the beautiful city of San Francisco, where one lucky customer could enjoy the elegant confines of the San Francisco Ritz-Carlton. Our valued customers and vendors were once again vital in the success of this expo. Thanks Partners!
